How To Play Boom Beach on PC

Boom Beach is an incredible real-time strategy game created by Supercell that has captivated players all around the globe. It’s definitely one of the most thrilling Android and iOS games, boasting over 50 million downloads on the Play Store. But did you know that you can also enjoy the adventure of Boom Beach on your Windows PC? Thanks to Android emulators, you can now play this game, as well as other Android games, on your computer with a bigger and more immersive display.

There are several emulators you can use to play Android games, such as Bluestacks, Andy, Genymotion, Koplayers, MEmu, Nox, and Droid4X. These emulators allow you to run most Android games and apps smoothly, and some even replicate the Android user interface. The best part is that most of these programs are completely free! With so many options available, let’s explore how you can play Boom Beach using the Droid4X emulator.

To start, begin by downloading the Droid4X setup wizard by clicking the Download button provided on this Softpedia page. Once the download is complete, locate the Droid4X installer in your File Explorer and open it. Choose a folder where you want to install the software and click the Next button. The installation process might take some time, around 15 minutes or so. Once the installation is finished, the emulator will begin loading and its window will open up, just like this:

When I first start Droid4X, it greets me with a couple of introductory pages that give more information on how to set up game controls. I can simply press the Next buttons to flip through these pages. After that, it asks me to create an account for the Play Store, which comes pre-installed with Droid4X. I have the option to create a brand new account or use an existing one. Once I have set up my account, I just need to click on AppStore and enter my Google account details to access the Play Store, as shown directly below.

Now you can easily save apps to Droid4X from the Play Store. Before you can install Boom Beach, you’ll need to add the Play Games app to Droid4X. Just enter ‘Google Play Games’ into the Play Store search box and hit Enter. Then, select the Google Play Games app page and click on the ‘Install’ button. Once it’s installed, click on the ‘Home’ button to go back to the Droid4X Desktop. You’ll now see the Play Games app there, ready for you to set up an account with. You can even add your existing Google account to this app.

Now, let’s move on to adding Boom Beach. Click on the ‘AppStore’ button once again and type ‘Boom Beach’ into the Play Store search box. Hit Enter and click on Boom Beach to open the game’s Play Store page. Finally, press the ‘Install’ button on the Boom Beach page to add the game to your Droid4X app library.

Alright, let’s kick things up a notch! Just tap the handy-dandy Home button to zip back to the Droid4X Desktop. And guess what? You’ll find the awesome Boom Beach app waiting for you there! Give it a satisfying click, and voila! The game will pop up right before your eyes, just like in the snapshot down below. So get ready to dive into the fun!

When it comes to controlling Droid4X, the mouse is your go-to. To move in different directions, all you have to do is hold down the left mouse button and drag the mouse in the opposite direction. So, if you want to scroll up, just drag the mouse down. Using the mouse, you can select buttons, units, and buildings. And if you want to zoom in or out, hold down the Ctrl key and roll the mouse wheel. When you’re ready for a bigger view, simply click the Full Screen button in the bottom right corner to switch Boom Beach to full-screen mode.

I can show you how to set up the game controls using the keyboard. Just follow these steps.

First, click the button at the bottom of the screen that says Keys simulation. This will open up the keyboard control options. You’ll see what it looks like in the screenshot below.

Make sure that the Keyboard control is turned on. If it’s not already, just switch it on. Then, click on the button that says WASD and hold down the left mouse button. You can drag that control pad onto the game window. It should look like the image below.

Finally, when you’re done setting up the controls, click the Save button to save your new settings. Now you can use the S, W, D, and A keys on your keyboard to scroll in the game. For example, pressing S will scroll up and pressing W will scroll down.

To set up the controls, first choose “Keys simulation” and then click anywhere in the software window to assign virtual keys with the keyboard. As you click, a red circle will appear where you can enter a keyboard key. This will assign the key to the area within the red circle.

For example, let’s say you want to assign a keyboard key to the compass button located at the bottom right of the Boom Beach window, which opens the game map. To do this, simply left-click on the compass button, press the Space key to assign it, and click “Save”. From now on, you can press the Space key to select the compass button and open the Boom Beach map.

In this way, you can assign hotkeys to all of Boom Beach’s game buttons in a similar manner. With just a few clicks, you’ll have an efficient and personalized control setup that makes navigating the game a breeze.

To get rid of the keyboard keys, just click on the Keys simulation button. If you want to remove all the keys at once, you can simply press the Clear button. Alternatively, you can right-click on the WASD pad or one of the virtual key circles and choose Delete.

If you want to adjust the graphics, click on the cog icon located at the top of the Droid4X window. This will open up the graphic options right below it. From there, you can choose various resolution options and even change the orientation from landscape to portrait. Make sure to select a resolution that matches the default settings of your Windows. Once you’re done, just click on the Restart button to restart Droid4X with the new settings.

Hey there! I’ve got something cool to share with you about Droid4X. So, by default, there’s this hotkey you can use to close the emulator – Ctrl + Alt + X. Pretty handy, right? But guess what? You can actually customize that hotkey too! You just need to go to the settings and select “Close Options”. Once you’re there, simply click the X box and press a different key of your choice to set your very own personalized hotkey for closing Droid4X. Don’t forget to hit the “Save” button and then click “OK” to register the new keyboard shortcut. Easy peasy!

Now, let’s talk about some game-related options in Droid4X. They’ve got something called SysFolder, which is like a treasure trove for fine-tuning your gaming experience. To access it, just go to the Droid4X Desktop and click on “SysFolder”. From there, you can select “Settings” and you’ll be taken to a page where you can do a bunch of cool stuff. One thing you can do is check out all the apps you’ve installed on your emulator by clicking on “Apps”. A neat list will pop up, showing you all the apps that are taking up space in your emulator’s 30 GB storage. If you want to declutter and get rid of a game like Boom Beach, or any other app for that matter, simply select it from the list and hit the “Uninstall” button. It’s as simple as that!
