These are all the YouTube keyboard shortcuts that I know of, and they’re the ones I’ve used the most. However, there are a couple more YouTube hacks that I can share with you to enhance your YouTube experience.

Save a Video for Later

Imagine you’re short on time but come across a cool video that you don’t want to forget. Well, good news! You can save it to watch later. Simply make sure you’re logged into YouTube with your Google account, and it will save the video in your “Watch Later” channel.

  1. Select the video so that it opens on the video page.
  2. Click on the three bars at the top left corner of the video.
  3. Choose “Watch later” from the menu.

I use this feature a lot, especially when I’m working on something and stumble upon an interesting video. With “Watch Later,” I can finish my work first without having to keep a browser tab open or search for the video again.

Skip the Commercials

Now, let’s talk about skipping commercials. While I understand that ads are necessary for YouTube to make money, they can sometimes be quite annoying, especially during a workout session or when you’re watching a video. But don’t worry, I have a solution!

  1. Go to the Quiettube website.
  2. Drag the browser link onto your shortcut bar.
  3. Select the video you want to watch and click on the Quiettube shortcut.

A new tab will open, and you’ll be able to enjoy your video without any interruptions from ads!

I find YouTube much easier to manage with keyboard shortcuts, which is why I created this tutorial. Some shortcuts may be more useful to you than others, but trust me, when every second counts, using a keystroke is way faster than using the mouse.
