How to Move Photos to SD Card on OnePlus 5

How to Transfer Photos from Your OnePlus 5 to Your SD Card

Once you’re in the “All Files” option, you’ll see “Device Storage” where your pictures are saved, and “SD card storage” for your SD card. So, remember to select the right option. After that, tap on “Device Storage” to find the files you want to transfer.

In general, pictures taken with your OnePlus 5’s camera go to the “DCIM” folder, while screenshots are stored in “Pictures”.

1. Open your OnePlus 5.
2. First, select the folder you want to transfer and tap on it.
3. You can either manually select specific files or transfer everything at once using the “Select All” function.
4. Tap on the “Share” option in the upper right corner.
5. In the expanded options, select “Copy”.
6. Now, go to the general “Settings” menu.
7. Tap on “Copy”.
8. Choose “SD memory card”.
9. Browse for another “DCIM” folder inside the SD card or create a new “DCIM” folder with a “Camera” folder inside it.
10. The transfer process may take a few minutes, but once it’s done, your files will be on your SD card.

Pro tip: If you want to transfer a whole folder, simply hold the folder you want and tap on “Copy”. Then go to your SD card, hold the screen, and tap on “Paste here”.
