How to Change the Google Logo

Do you find yourself Googling things multiple times a day? I know I do! But let’s be real, that old Google logo can get pretty boring after a while. Well, I have some good news for you – you can actually change the Google logo! And I’m here to show you how.

If you’re a Chrome user (like most of us are), changing the Google logo is super easy. All you need to do is use a Chrome extension called “Custom Logo.” Just follow these simple steps:

  1. Go to the Custom Logo extension page and click on “Add to Chrome.”
  2. Confirm the installation by clicking on “Add Extension.”
  3. Make sure that the Custom Logo icon appears on your Chrome menu.

Once you have the extension installed, the fun begins! You can change the text of the “Google” logo to anything you want. You can even choose from a variety of pre-existing logos or add your own personalized image. Here’s how:

  1. Open Chrome and go to the Google homepage.
  2. Click on the Custom Logo icon at the top of your browser.
  3. In the drop-down menu, enter your custom text and choose an image.
  4. As you type, the text will automatically change, and the image you chose will appear.
  5. If you ever want to go back to the old Google logo, simply click on the “Power” button in the drop-down menu.

Changing the Google logo has never been so much fun! You can truly make it your own.

But what if you’re not a Chrome user? Don’t worry, I’ve got another option for you. There’s a free browser tool called Stylus that you can use on both Chrome and Firefox. Stylus allows you to customize the way websites, including Google, appear on your computer. Here’s what you need to do:

  • If you’re using Chrome, go to the Chrome Web Store and search for “Stylus.”
  • If you’re using Firefox, go to the Add-ons page and search for “Stylus.”

Once you have Stylus installed, the steps are the same regardless of which browser you use:

  1. Open the Google homepage as usual.
  2. Click on the Styles icon in your browser.
  3. Select the “Find styles” option in the drop-down menu.
  4. You will see a variety of themes for the Google homepage.
  5. Pick the one you like, and it will automatically change the logo.

If you’re feeling adventurous and have some coding knowledge, you can even click on the “Edit” button to further customize the Google logo.

Now, if you’re using G Suite for work, you have a little more freedom to change the Google logo. As the G Suite administrator, you can replace the default logo with your company’s logo or any other image you prefer. Just follow these steps:

  1. Sign in to your Google Admin console.
  2. Click on the “Company Profile” icon.
  3. Select the “Personalization” option.
  4. Choose the “Custom Logo” option from the menu.
  5. Click on “Select file to upload” and choose a file from your computer or cloud storage.
  6. An image will automatically appear, and you can click “Upload” and “Save.”

Voila! From that point on, you’ll see your company’s logo at the top of all G Suite products.

So go ahead, have some fun with your Google logo! There are plenty of options out there to make your daily online searches a little more interesting. And if you have any other ideas or questions, let us know in the comments section below!
