Want to Create a Picture Collage for Your Snapchat Story? Here’s How!

Hello there! Are you interested in making a fabulous photo collage for your Snapchat story? You’ve come to the right place! I’m excited to show you just how easy it can be. So, let’s get started!

Step 1: Gathering Your Photos

First things first, let’s gather all the photos you want to include in your collage. Think about the theme you want for your story and choose photos that match that vibe. Whether it’s a day at the beach, a family gathering, or snapshots of your adorable pets, make sure you have a nice selection to work with.

Step 2: Using a Collage App

Now that we have our photos ready, it’s time to choose a collage app. There are plenty of options out there, so pick one that suits your style. Look for an app that allows you to customize the layout and add fun stickers or text if you’re feeling creative. Some popular collage apps include Canva, PicCollage, and Layout.

Step 3: Selecting a Layout

Once you’ve chosen your app, it’s time to select a layout for your collage. There are various options to choose from, such as grids, mosaics, or even free-form layouts. Browse through the options and find the one that works best for your photos. Remember, it’s all about creating a visually appealing story that grabs attention!

Step 4: Arranging Your Photos

Now comes the fun part – arranging your photos in the layout you’ve chosen. Most collage apps allow you to drag and drop your photos into the designated spaces. Don’t be afraid to experiment with different placements and sizes. Play around until you find the perfect arrangement that showcases your photos in the best possible way.

Step 5: Adding Creative Elements

To make your photo collage truly unique and eye-catching, consider adding some creative elements. This could be stickers, doodles, or funny captions. Let your imagination run wild and have fun with it! Just make sure not to clutter the collage too much, so the focus remains on your beautiful photos.

Step 6: Saving and Sharing

Once you’re happy with your masterpiece, it’s time to save and share it. Most collage apps have a “save” or “export” button that allows you to save the final image to your camera roll. From there, you can upload it to your Snapchat story and share it with all your friends. Get ready for some well-deserved compliments!

That’s it! You’ve successfully created a stunning photo collage for your Snapchat story. Now, go ahead and show off your creativity and storytelling skills. Have fun and keep experimenting with different themes and layouts. The possibilities are endless!

How To Make a Photo Collage for a Snapchat Story

Ever since Snapchat first came onto the scene, it has been attracting users, especially young people. As of now, it is one of the most popular social media platforms in the world. People love using Snapchat to share their moments and are always searching for ways to become better storytellers.

One great way to engage with your followers on Snapchat is by creating collages. Now, you might be thinking that Snapchat doesn’t have a collage feature. Well, you’re partially right, but not completely. I’m going to show you two clever ways to make your story pop and impress your viewers with collages.

So Many Memories, So Little Time

Have you ever had a fantastic idea for your story but needed several videos to bring it to life? It can be quite boring for your followers to get a notification every 15 minutes for the next part of your masterpiece. Sometimes, you might need a little time to set up your next snap, but you don’t want to interrupt the flow. Here’s how you can unleash your inner Spielberg.

  1. Turn on Airplane mode — This step is important because it allows you to queue up your uploads. By disabling internet access on your device, your snaps won’t attempt to upload and fail. Don’t worry, we’ll upload them all at once later.

  2. Launch the Snapchat app and start filming — When you open the app, it will immediately take you to the camera. Start creating your first picture or video.

  3. Add the snap to your story — Once you’re satisfied, tap the add icon to include the snap in your story. Since you’re in airplane mode, your device won’t have internet access. You might see a warning message saying you have “No internet connection,” or it might simply fail to upload. Just repeat steps 2 and 3 until you’ve fully told your story.

  4. Turn off Airplane mode — You’re almost there! Turn off airplane mode and go to the “Stories” screen. Once you’re there, tap on the triple-dot icon () in the top right corner.

  5. Upload your snaps — This is where the magic happens. For each snap that failed to load, you’ll see a “Tap to retry” message. Start from the bottom and work your way up. The last snap on the list is the first one you made. Upload them all quickly, one after the other, and marvel at your creation!

Keep in mind that your snaps will still be timestamped based on when you made them, not when you uploaded them. They will be deleted as they expire, but not all at once. They’ll delete individually as their expiration time arrives.

A Little Outside Help

The other way to spice up your stories with a collage is simple yet effective. This method is a bit more limited as it only works with photos. Snapchat allows you to upload photos from your phone’s gallery instead of taking photos within the app. You can take advantage of this feature and combine it with another app to make your story truly stand out.

There are plenty of great apps that make it easy and quick to create stunning collages. Some good options, if you don’t want to spend any money, are PicCollage and Layout. If you’re willing to use a paid app, Diptic is also excellent. Choose the one that suits you best and create a collage that you can be proud of using photos from your device.

Once your collage is ready to go, you can upload it to your story. Simply find the photo in your gallery, select it, and use the share feature. When you’re ready to share it, Snapchat will give you a list of friends to share it with. Instead, scroll down the list until you find “Your Story” and tap it to post your collage directly to your story.

Snapchat

Snap Like a Pro

Now that you’ve learned how to add some pizzazz to your snaps, let’s get imaginative. Sometimes, putting together a series of photos in a sequence can tell a story even better than a video. Imagine capturing motion and vitality in your shots by mimicking the technique used by stop motion animators. Another cool idea is to showcase a building in a grandiose way by splitting it into multiple photos in your story.
