However, hosting large meetings can be a bit tricky, especially if you’re a teacher and have kids interrupting and asking questions. But don’t worry, there’s a solution – you can mute all participants. In this article, I’ll show you how.

Who Can Mute Participants?

To mute one or all participants in a meeting, you need to be either the host or a co-host. Remember, there can only be one host, but there’s no limit to the number of co-hosts. The host can share hosting privileges with other users to help manage the meeting more effectively. It doesn’t matter if you’re using a smartphone, tablet, or PC – you can mute participants from any device.

Step by Step Guide

Let’s first learn how to mute all participants if you’re using Zoom on your desktop. Here are the steps:

1. Go to host controls.
2. Click on Manage Participants.
3. Open the Participants list.
4. Click on Mute All.

Keep in mind that when you click on Mute All, both current and new participants will be muted. If you want new participants to be able to introduce themselves when they join the meeting, you will need to unmute them. To unmute all participants, open the Participants list and click on Unmute All.
