How to Get Facebook Live Videos
Hey there! I’m here to show you how to download Facebook Live videos easily. Facebook Live is an amazing way to connect with your loved ones in real time, sharing exciting moments you don’t want them to miss. Whether it’s the beautiful memories of a wedding or the passionate speeches at a political rally, you can share it all! Your friends can either watch the event live or catch up on the recording later.
Downloading a Facebook Live Video: Is It Possible?
You might be wondering if it’s possible to download Facebook Live videos. Well, the answer isn’t crystal clear. While some websites might claim that you can download your friends’ videos, there doesn’t seem to be any legitimate way to do so. But don’t worry, I’ll share a workaround with you shortly!
Downloading your own videos is a bit different. However, different sites have different methods, so it can get confusing. But don’t worry, I’ve got you covered with a few methods I found on the web. One of these should work for you to download your precious archived videos.
Method One: Using Basic Options
- First, go to your Facebook profile.
- Find the video you want to download. It should be on your profile or in your news feed. If you’re not sure, check the More tab under your profile.
- To make the video appear bigger, click on its time stamp. If you’re in your news feed, you’ll find it above the video. But if you’re in your video collection on your profile, you can simply click on the video thumbnail.
- Now, look for three dots or a downward-facing arrow in the upper right corner of the video window. Click on them.
- A drop-down list of options will appear. Choose the “Download video” option.
- Select where you want the video to be saved.
Method Two: Some Fancy URL Magic
This method is similar to the first one, but with a little twist.
- Again, start by going to your Facebook profile.
- Locate the video you want to download in your profile or news feed, and check the More tab under your profile just to be sure.
- To make the video bigger, click on its time stamp. It’s usually located above the video in your news feed. But if you’re in your video collection on your profile, simply click on the video thumbnail.
- Now for the fancy part! Go to the URL and change the “www” to “m”.
- Press Enter and you’ll be taken to a special video view. Right-click on the video to see more options.
- Choose “Save As”.
Method 3: Just in Case You Need an Extra Boost
If the first two methods didn’t do the trick for you, here’s an alternative.
- Start by going to your Facebook profile.
- Find the video you want to download in your profile or news feed. You can also check the More tab under your profile.
- Make the video appear bigger by clicking on its time stamp. It’s usually located above the video in your news feed. But if you’re in your video collection on your profile, just click on the video thumbnail.
- Click on the time stamp again to bring up a wider video view.
- Look on the right-hand side below the video for a list of options. Choose “Download SD” or “Download HD”.
- Select the location where you want to save the video.
