Where Can I Find Sample Student?
If you can’t see the Sample Student, just open your Class List. You’ll find the Sample Student at the top, before the other students. It even has a special picture, a photo of a happy child.
When you want to publish an activity or select students for a specific task, the Sample Student will always be right at the top of the list. You can select it to see how the activity will appear when your students open it.
Remember, the Sample Student is automatically included in every class you create. You don’t need to activate it, just select it from the Class List.
Can I Turn Off the Sample Student?
If you no longer want to see the Sample Student or find it distracting, you can easily turn it off. Here’s what you need to do:
- Click on the wrench icon at the top right corner.
- Go to Settings.
- Scroll down to the Students section.
- Turn off “Enable Sample Student” by sliding the button.
Of course, you can always turn it back on whenever you want. Just remember that when “Enable Sample Student” is green, it’s on, and when it’s gray, it means you’ve turned it off.
